Aamir Petiwala and Encore FC: Pressure Makes Diamonds

Some teams are built quietly. Others announce themselves with intent. Encore FC belongs firmly in the second category.

Owned by Aamir Petiwala and Aamir G, Encore is the product of two lifelong footballers who’ve lived the game long before stepping into ownership. Their journey with football began early — at the age of five — through school practices, and it’s been a constant ever since. Playing, competing, and sharing dressing rooms with players who went on to represent the country shaped not just their footballing ability, but their understanding of what it truly takes to build a winning team.

Off the pitch, both owners bring strong professional discipline into the setup. Aamir Petiwala is involved in manufacturing luggage ranging from camping bags and suitcases to duffles and purses, while Aamir G works in manufacturing specialised tools and equipment used in watchmaking. When work pauses, their time is split between the gym, gaming sessions on the PlayStation, and catching up with friends — a balance that reflects the modern footballer-owner mindset.

Their connection with ACES League goes back to its roots. Both Aamirs have been part of the same footballing circles and have been involved with ACES since its early seasons as players. Last season, they represented Trana United, where they finished second by a single point on the final day — a heartbreak that still fuels their ambition.

This season marks a new chapter.

Having experienced the league from inside the dressing room, Aamir Petiwala and Aamir G decided it was time to build something of their own. Encore FC was born — a team created from scratch, carrying their collective philosophy, values, and competitive edge.

The name isn’t accidental. Encore is also Aamir Petiwala’s brand, and the team reflects the same core values — unity, freedom, and expression through football. The idea is simple: give players the freedom to express themselves, create a unified dressing room, and let football do the talking. Integrity and sportsmanship sit at the core, but make no mistake — this is a team built to compete. The mentality is clear: win every game and leave everything on the pitch.

For the owners, success has only one definition: winning it all. Pressure doesn’t intimidate this group — it fuels them. They believe pressure creates diamonds, and that mindset filters straight into the squad. Their message to the players is refreshingly honest: have fun, play good football, and give everything. If you’ve truly done all you can, the result will follow.

On the pitch, Encore promises anything but conservative football. With Mir Mehta, last season’s best player, leading the charge and a group of exciting new recruits added to the mix, the team is built for attacking, entertaining football. Safe 1–0 wins aren’t the aim here. A 6–4 victory, packed with intent, firepower, and spectacle — that’s the Encore way.

As for rivalries, there’s no shortage of excitement. Matches against Titans carry a friendly edge, while a potential final against Trana United would be extra special — facing the club both owners once represented.

Encore FC enters its debut season clear-eyed and fearless. Built on unity, driven by pressure, and unapologetic in ambition — this is a team ready to make its mark.
