The cost of owning a team in the Aces Football League (Winter 2026) is ₹50,000. New team owners may choose to: - Inherit an existing team, or - Start with a new core. Existing team owners may choose to: - Retain their current team, or - Start with a new core.

Trial Date: 12 September Trial Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM Attendance is mandatory for all Non-Core and Non-Retained Players. Players absent from trials for any reason will incur a ₹2,000 penalty, deducted from their refundable ₹5,000 balance. Players who attend trials but are not auctioned may either: - Request a full refund, or - Request a 50% refund and enter the Transfer Pool. Every player must:Sign the waiver form.Submit a valid photo ID.Get their photograph taken.Wear astroturf shoes.Carry one white jersey and one black jersey.Complete the required warm-up (if instructed). Trials will consist of:Individual skill drills.Match play. A player will be disqualified from the league and receive a full refund if they:Deliberately underperform or tank the trials.Sustain an injury that prevents completion of the trials.Fail to complete the entire trial process for any reason. Managers and owners are encouraged to speak with players regarding:Preferred playing positions.Team preferences.Match availability.Practice commitments. The league is not responsible if a selected player fails to attend league matches. Managers must immediately inform the Committee if a player will be unavailable for multiple matches. The Committee reserves the right to remove such a player, issue a full refund, and declare the player ineligible for the league.

Auction Time: 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM Only owners & members of the official AFL Managers Group are eligible to participate. Before the auction, the League Commissioner will explain all league rules. Managers are responsible for ensuring their players understand the rules. The league is not responsible for any player misunderstanding the rules. Every manager must sign the official AFL Rules Sheet before participating. Managers will receive the complete player list along with each player's assigned category before the auction. Every team will receive an auction budget of 135 Million (135M). Goalkeeper Base Price: 5M. Open Player Base Price: 1M.

4.1 Match Format8 players per team (including goalkeeper).Match duration: 2 × 25 minutes.Up to 3 minutes of stoppage time may be added if required.Kick-off must begin within 5 minutes of the scheduled time.If a team is late, the opposing team will receive a walkover.The Aces Committee reserves the right to modify this decision if deemed appropriate.No-show results in a 3–0 walkover loss. 4.2 SubstitutionsUnlimited rolling substitutions are permitted.All substitutions must take place at the halfway line near the technical table.Improper substitutions will result in a yellow card for both the entering and exiting players. 4.3 EquipmentTurf shoes are mandatory.Shin guards are optional but strongly recommended.Official Aces jerseys are compulsory.Teams cannot wear identical jersey colours.Team shorts must be of a uniform colour.Team stockings/socks must be of a uniform colour.Jewellery is prohibited.Players wearing eyewear do so at their own risk. 4.4 RestartsFree-kicks may be direct or indirect at the referee's discretion.Kick-ins replace throw-ins and are always indirect.The offside rule applies from:Kick-insFree-kicksDrop ballsOffside does not apply from goal kicks.If the ball strikes the overhead wires, play restarts with a drop ball. 4.5 Goalkeeper RulesA goal cannot be scored directly from a goal kick.Goalkeepers may hold the ball for a maximum of 8 seconds.

Three accumulated yellow cards = 1-match suspension. Two yellow cards in the same match = Red Card + 1-match suspension. Straight Red Card = Minimum 2-match suspension. Suspensions carry forward into future seasons if necessary. Violent conduct may result in an extended suspension or league ban. Abusive behaviour from the sidelines may result in suspension. If a substitute or bench player receives a Red Card:The team must continue with only 7 players.The dismissed individual must immediately leave the venue.

Mutual respect towards referees, opponents, teammates, officials, and organisers is mandatory. Alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited at the venue. Jerseys, shorts, and footwear must comply with the official league dress code.

Only the team captain may communicate with the referee. The captain must wear the official captain's armband while on the field. The armband must always remain with an active player on the pitch. Any non-captain or substitute confronting the referee will receive a yellow card. Managers, owners, and coaches are not permitted to enter the field of play. Any breach will result in expulsion from the ground. Only one non-playing team member is permitted on the team bench. Referees may consult each other and either confirm or change a decision.

8.1 RoleTo uphold discipline, fairness, and integrity, the Fourth Official has been introduced as an official match authority.The Fourth Official may:Stop play whenever necessary.Report misconduct.Recommend disciplinary action.Assist the referees in maintaining order on and off the field. 8.2 AuthorityThe Fourth Official may stop play and recommend Yellow or Red Cards for:Bench interference.Abuse or offensive language from the sidelines.Verbal or physical abuse by players.Taunting, mocking, or disrespecting match officials.Physical altercations missed by the referees.Improper substitutions. 8.3 Match AdministrationThe Fourth Official is responsible for:Monitoring all substitutions.Ensuring players enter only from the halfway line.Determining whether a player may enter the field if their shorts or stockings do not meet league requirements.Issuing warnings for delays.Declaring a walkover if a team fails to arrive within the permitted time. 8.4 Dress Code ViolationsIf a player is not wearing the correct match kit:Play may be stopped.The player must correct their attire before returning.No Yellow Card will be issued for a dress code violation alone.
