Roarers FC: Roar Together, Win Forever

Updated: Aug 21, 2025

For Ibadur Rehman, football isn’t just a weekend escape , it’s stitched into the fabric of his life. A passionate player, professional fitness coach, and now team owner in the ACES League, Ibadur brings more than just tactical insight to the field. He brings purpose.

His story in the ACES League began last season as a player in a team that, unfortunately, finished at the bottom of the table. For many, that might’ve been a reason to walk away. For Ibadur, it was exactly the push he needed. Frustrated with the results and confident in what he could bring to the table, he made a bold move: he bought the very team he once played for.

With a new vision came a new identity - Roarers FC. The name, while sounding fierce and commanding, actually carries a personal story. It was born during a casual conversation with close friends and family, when his wife jokingly suggested the name “Roarers,” inspired by a nickname from their dating days. The moment felt right and everyone in the room agreed.

But don’t let the sentimental origin fool you. The ethos behind Roarers FC is anything but soft. Built on aggression, accountability, and ambition, the team stands for a mindset that’s ready to challenge and conquer.

The slogan says it all: “Roar Together, Win Forever.”

Outside the league, Ibadur wears many hats. He’s a certified fitness coach with a focus on mental wellness, and he also co-runs a growing perfume brand with his younger brother. But at his core, he’s a footballer. It’s his love for the game that inspired his fitness journey  not just to stay in shape, but to ensure he can keep playing for decades to come. “I want to play when I’m 41, even 51,” he says. “That’s why I stay fit.”

His commitment to the ACES League goes beyond one season. He sees ACES as more than just a tournament — it’s a community of like-minded people who play for the love of the game. “I’ve played in other leagues, but they felt overcrowded or too commercial. ACES is different — it’s quality over quantity. Structured, competitive, and full of serious ballers,” he explains.

What stands out most about Ibadur is how deeply he values connection — with the game, with his team, and with the wider ACES community. He credits the league with helping him build meaningful relationships, including his partnership with Dave, a former teammate and now co-builder of Roarers FC.

And his involvement doesn’t stop on the field. Ibadur is keen to support the league off it too whether through his perfume brand, sponsorships, or simply showing up. “ I’m here as long as ACES is. This is something I truly believe in.”

Backed by a strong circle of friends and family, who are expected to show up in numbers this season, Ibadur isn’t just leading a team. He’s creating a culture. One built around fitness, fierce loyalty, personal meaning and football that speaks louder than words.

With Roarers FC, the message is clear:

They’re not just here to play — they’re here to roar.
